Dr. Natasha Nanda

NandaI had a love for animals which was unique from my peers, and I knew I wanted caring for animals to be a big part of my life at the age of 7 years old. From this tender age I was rescuing small mammals from the jaws of my Labrador pup and next my beagle, Fillmore, and now my English Pointer, Boris. My mother endorsed my compassion towards animals and it determined me to go into a career for the benefit of them.

I geared my schooling to ultimately land me in a prestigious veterinary program. I stayed close to home for my undergraduate studies and completed my degree in biomedical engineering from Arizona State University in 2011. I then moved to northern California to attend veterinary school at UC Davis and graduated in 2015, the year my veterinary school was ranked #1 in the world!

I am now happy to be back in the state I call home and to be practicing small animal medicine…a dream come true! My family includes my parents and a younger sister. My father is a physician and my younger sister is a soon to be physician. So I guess we are a family of doctors. 🙂  In my free time I enjoy swimming, playing tennis, yoga, watching reality tv shows on E network and Bravo, Bollywood, and I have recently picked up an interest in the stock market. I’m lucky to have my family and friends nearby to do fun things with!
