Celebrating 50 Years of Accreditation with American Animal Hospital Association!
University Animal Hospital has been awarded a great honor from the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), achieving 50 years being an accredited hospital!
Unlike human hospitals, animal hospitals are not required to be accredited. Animal hospitals are evaluated on approximately 900 standards of veterinary excellence in order to become accredited. AAHA-accredited hospitals are recognized among the finest in the industry, and are consistently at the forefront of advanced veterinary medicine. Only 12-15% of the animal hospitals in the United States and Canada are accredited.
Please visit the following web site link to learn more about the 900 standards that are required to be an accredited animal hospital.
