University Animal Hospital offers classes through Tempe Parks and Recreation. We have classes for children and we have classes for adults. We offer these classes several times throughout the year and will email the exact dates and times. Please be sure that we have your email address on file so you can receive notifications for these classes. All classes are held here at University Animal Hospital.
Puppy Kindergarten: The first few months of a puppy’s life are an important time for socialization and learning lifelong skills. Puppy Kindergarten classes focus on socialization with other puppies and people and basic commands such as sit, stay, down, come, etc. We also address many common puppy behavioral issues like chewing, biting and jumping.
The cost for the class is $120.00 and classes run for 1 hour for 6 weeks. Please contact Dr. Amber Naig to enroll at 480-968-9275 ext 135.

There will be games, fun and “talk about” handouts, videos and even dogs to interact with. A tour of the animal hospital and boarding facility is included. Classroom space is limited so only those children registered may attend. Parents are welcome. For ages 1st grade and up.
